Founded in 2022, Qawwam Empire Sdn Bhd (QESB) was established with a clear purpose — to create a professional services organisation that is not only operationally excellent, but ethically grounded in every dimension.

We began as a corporate advisory and consultancy firm, building our foundations on governance, compliance and organisational development. This early focus gave us a distinct advantage: a deep, institutional understanding of how well-governed organisations operate — an understanding that now underpins everything we do.

As the digital economy evolved, QESB expanded its expertise into blockchain technology and digital asset advisory — bringing the same governance discipline and compliance rigour to an emerging space that demands it most.

Chief Executive Officer of CyberSecurity Malaysia and Adjunct Professor at multiple Malaysian public universities. PhD from the University of Queensland, Australia. Member of the National Anti-Financial Crime Centre (NFCC) Advisory Board and recipient of the National Technologist Award 2024.

Over 35 years of experience in banking supervision, compliance and money services oversight. Began his career at Bank Negara Malaysia in 1983, serving three decades in the examination and supervision of commercial banks, finance companies and development financial institutions. Graduate of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in Economics.
